2005 Accomplishments
Provided school supplies and uniforms were provided for approximately 400 students.
2006 Accomplishments
July 7-14, 2006 - A team of medical volunteers conducted disease prevention and health training sessions and provided various medical supplies for daily health maintenance. More than 300 villagers attended the training sessions from the Yawa and surrounding villages. In addition, provided educational materials including, school supplies (books, bookcases, storage, desks, academic equipment and materials); athletic equipment and jump ropes donated by Towson University’s Campus Recreation Services and the IROPE Fitness Program. Paid for the School Master and three teachers’ salaries. Purchased Bibles and distributed during the mission trip. Purchased 2 tons of soybean seeds to help develop a marketable product for the Yawa village.
Focused on medical related services and health education in 4 areas: Pregnancy, Diseases and Disorders, Sanitation and Hygiene and Physical fitness (youth).

More than 300 villagers attended four days of training sessions. Many of the villagers were from the surrounding countryside outside of Yawa proper. In addition to the sessions, the team provided educational materials including school supplies, books, bookcases, crates for storage, desks, guidance in developing academic curriculum and other curriculum and academic materials.lick here to edit.
Athletic equipment and jump ropes were given that had been donated by Towson University's Campus Recreation Services and the IROPE Fitness Program, a private organization who is a strong proponent of physical fitness.
Paid the salaries of the Head Master and three teachers. Purchased and distributed 100 Bibles. Purchased two tons of soybean seed to help develop a marketable product for Yawa Village.
November 2009, representatives of YVAP, Inc. traveled to the Yawa Village to continue our relationship with the villagers; develop a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the local NGO, Action for Impact Plus; looked at the construction of the new school building; received a briefing on the implementation of the health education concepts; delivered text books to be used in the primary grade level classrooms; reestablished YVAP, Inc. relationship with the local bank and gathered information needed to assess the curriculum, teachers and the school’s operations
